Hey, I’m Deserea, and I’m genuinely so glad you’re here! I’m the founder of Shine Wellness Co. and the creator of the Shed & Shine System. Oh, and I just got named one of Atlantic Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 Innovators for 2024, which still feels surreal. But honestly? Titles and awards are nice, but they’re not what this is all about.

A few years back, I was exactly where you might be right now—feeling stuck, frustrated, and like every “solution” I tried only left me more discouraged. I’d jump into new diets or workout plans, only to end up right back where I started, feeling like something was always missing. I didn’t just want a physical change—I wanted to actually feel good, inside and out.

So, I decided to rewrite my own story. I dove deep into fitness, nutrition, and, most importantly, mindset. I lost 100 pounds, yes, but more than that, I completely changed how I thought about health and wellness. That journey is what sparked Shine Wellness Co., because I knew there had to be more people out there who felt the way I did.

This isn’t some quick-fix program or a list of impossible-to-follow rules. Shine Wellness is all about shedding the stuff that’s holding you back and stepping into your best, most confident self—strong, healthy, and unapologetically YOU.
